Emmett Technique for Horses
Initial Consultation £45
In the first instance we will have a chat on the phone to take some basic information and arrange an appointment for your horse’s first assessment. The first visit will usually be around 90 minutes and involve a visual and manual assessment (which can include walk/trot up, lungeing/free schooling, or ridden if appropriate), discussion to get to know you and your horse and talk about any current issues or concerns your horse may be having, followed by an Emmett Treatment.
Maintenance Appointment £40
This is any appointment following the initial assessment and will be around 60 minutes. We will discuss any changes in your horses life since our last treatment, any current issues, and visually and manually assess before proceeding with their Emmett treatment. The frequency of maintenance appointments can vary based on your horse’s needs and if they are experiencing any specific issues, or if you’d just like to give them a nice treat!
** Prices are given for clients within 30 minute drive of Fleet, a fuel charge may be applied to appointments outside of this area**
DOG WALKING – Mane and Tail is Licensed to walk on MoD Land
Group walks 1 hour : one dog £15, 2 dogs from same household £25.
1-1 walks: 1 hour £30, 30 minutes £15 *Please note I am currently unable to take on 1-1 clients for dog walking
Saturdays and Sundays: time and a half
Bank Holidays: double time
Standard walks are 1 hour, this allows plenty of time for playing, exploring and winding down. Walks are in small groups to ensure maximum control, minimum risk and plenty of interaction for each animal. Your dog will usually be away from the home for 1.5-2 hours due to travelling time to walking areas.
Before working with your pet I will come for a walk with you both to assess fitness and behaviour so that they can be grouped with animals with complimenting abilities and personalities. I am happy to walk dogs off leads with owner’s permission, provided the dogs recall is strong.
Dogs are transported in van equipped with purpose built safety cages.
I am trained in Canine 1st Aid and fully insured with Pet Business Insurance UK
Animal Care Home Visits
I offer home visits for cats, dogs and small animals which may include feeding, toileting, grooming and play/company, a short walk, or activity specified by the owner.
